Active Kids Policies

For the safety of your children, our Child Care providers must adhere to the following policies:

Medical Information Forms
Must be completed this prior to your first visit.

Sign in procedures
:: Must be completed each visit, so we know how to find you in an emergency.
:: Register the name of the pick-up-person, if other than yourself. That pick-up person will be asked for an ID.

Toilet & diapering procedures
:: Staff will change diapers when furnished by parents.

Food & drink policies
:: Staff will be happy to give bottle feedings with proper parent instruction.
:: Disposable cups are available for older children.
:: In an effort to monitor children with allergies children should eat meals before arrival. 

Appropriate storage of personal items 
:: Coats, hats, toys, shoes etc should be preferably stored in the cubbyhole in the entrance.

Lost & Found
Items will remain in the Child Care for a couple days and then taken to the Club Lost & Found located at the Hospitality Desk.

ID
You may be required to show your picture ID/membership card when you return to pick up your child.  If, for any reason, another person is picking up your child, you are asked to register that plan at time of sign-in. This includes the other parent and grandparents.  Proper identification will also be requested of that individual.

Illness
In consideration of the staff and other children, please do not bring your child if they have or have had:
:: Fever in the past 24 hours hour (temperature above 98.6)
:: Diarrhea in the past 24 hours
:: Vomiting in the past 24 hours
:: Conjunctivitis, inflammation, or drainage from or around the eyes.
:: Unexplained lethargy
:: Undiagnosed rash
:: Green discharge from nose or eyes

Wellbridge Athletic Club reserves the right to refuse entry to children who exhibit any symptoms of illness.  Please do not bring medication to Child Care (check the diaper bag).

Toys and Activities
Due to the age range, we recommend that children do not bring toys into Child Care.  “Security” blankets are permitted, when labeled with a permanent marker.  Wellbridge Athletic Club is not responsible for any lost or broken items.  Please do not allow your child to bring any rocks, balloons, make-up or small items such as a Logos or coins that may be hazardous.

The Child Care staff will come and find you if your child
:: Continues to cry
:: Becomes ill
:: Incurs injury
:: Has a discipline situation
